The 2025 WPIAL softball playoff field is taking shape and sits at 69 teams with a week left in the regular season.

The top four teams in each section qualify for the postseason from Class 5A down. In 6A, the top six teams clinch a WPIAL playoff berth.

If there is a tie for the final playoff spot in any section, all of the tied teams advance if they split their head-to-head meetings.

Coverage of the 2025 WPIAL softball playoffs on TribHSSN.TribLive.com starts with the brackets being unveiled during the Playoff Pairings Show on Thursday.

Here is the latest list of teams that have earned district playoff berths through Sunday, plus the playoff scenarios for the unclaimed playoff berths.
