WPIAL players recognized on all-region soccer list

Five WPIAL soccer standouts collected all-region honors.
Fox Chapel junior forward Emily McKee, Seneca Valley senior midfielder Karly Majeski and senior forward Morgan Gesinski were the district girls selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region list.
Canon-McMillan senior midfielder Adam Kuchera and senior forward Rocco DiDomenico of Fox Chapel were selected for the boys’ list.
All of those players were All-WPIAL and all-state selections and were named to the TribLive HSSN all-star team.
McKee, who won the Moe Rosensteel Award for the WPIAL’s top girls player, had 49 goals for the WPIAL Class 3A champion Foxes.
Majeski, a James Madison commit, helped lead the Raiders to a WPIAL Class 4A runner-up finish.
Gesinski, a Robert Morris commit, scored 30 goals and added 11 assists.
Kuchera was the WPIAL Class 4A player of the year and had 20 goals, while DiDomenico had 10 goals and led Fox Chapel to a WPIAL Class 4A title.
