Because of the forecast of rain at Cal (Pa.)’s Lilley Field, Wednesday’s Class 6A, 3A and 1A softball championship games were postponed and moved to Friday.
The game times also were changed.
The Class A title game between No. 1 Union and No. 3 Chartiers-Houston will be at 11 a.m., followed by the Class 6A matchup between No. 2 Seneca Valley and No. 5 Norwin at 1 p.m.
The Class 3A contest between No. 3 South Park and No. 4 Mohawk will cap the tripleheader at 3:30.
Thursday’s Class 2A, 4A and 5A championship games at Lilley Field will remain at their same times.
Wednesday’s WPIAL baseball championship games at Wild Things Park were played as scheduled.
Updated softball brackets can be found at wpial.org/tournaments/?id=20.
