WPIAL announces schedule for 2025 softball finals, 3rd-place games

The WPIAL announced start times for the six softball finals Wednesday and Thursday at PennWest’s Lilley Field in California.
The championship schedule starts with the Class 4A final at noon Wednesday, followed by Class 6A at 2:15 p.m. and Class 5A at 4:30 p.m. The Thursday schedule begins with the Class 3A final at noon, Class 2A at 2:15 p.m. and Class A at 4:30 p.m.
The WPIAL also finalized sites and times for third-place games played Tuesday.

Hempfield (20-1) vs. Seneca Valley (16-3) at Lilley Field, Cal (Pa.), 2:15 p.m. Wednesday
Class 5A
Championship
Penn-Trafford (20-2) vs. Shaler (17-4) at Lilley Field, Cal (Pa.), 4:30 p.m. Wednesday
Third place
North Hills (17-5) vs. West Allegheny (16-5) at North Allegheny, 4 p.m. Tuesday

Blackhawk (14-5) vs. Hampton (16-5) at Lilley Field, Cal (Pa.), noon Wednesday

Elizabeth Forward (15-4) vs. Beaver (15-6) at Pleasant Valley Elementary, Peters Township, 4 p.m. Tuesday
