WPIAL Softball Playoff Recaps for Saturday, May 21st

While there is still one more opening round game to be played on Monday in the 2011 WPIAL Softball Playoffs, for the most part, the First Round came to an end with four games Saturday afternoon. Here are recaps from those contests heard here on the MSA Sports Network.

WPIAL CLASS AAA FIRST ROUND:

Ellwood City Wolverines 1 – Hampton Talbots 0
Ellwood City scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 5th to earn a 1-0 victory over Hampton in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs Saturday afternoon.
