WPIAL/City League Week Eight Saturday Football Scores

There were three Saturday afternoon high school football games to close the doors on Week Eight. Two of the games were non-conference contests along with one key Class 1-A Big 7 Conference game with playoff hopefuls going head-to-head. Even the two non-conference contests featured three playoff bound district teams. Here are ALL the results from the WPIAL and Pittsburgh City League Saturday afternoon slate.

Summit Academy Knights 52 – Northgate Flames 33 (Trib)
1-A Non-Conference:
West Greene Pioneers 20 – Western Beaver Golden Beavers 14 (Trib)
Pittsburgh City League Non-Conference:
Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights 27 – University Prep Wildcats 0
