Mother Nature is confused. While fans, coaches and players appreciated a fifth straight dry Friday night going back to Week Zero, the first few weeks felt like early October and now as we head into the final week of the ninth month, it’s felt more like August. Like the temps, the action on the field was hot as we started the middle third of the high school football regular season.
