WPISL regular-season set to conclude with a series of doubleheaders

Bethel Park and Montour rolled through their respective schedules over the first six weeks of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Softball League schedule.

The Black Hawks and Spartans, both undefeated at 12-0, will decide the regular-season title Sunday when they clash in a doubleheader at 1 and 3 p.m. at Bethel Park High School.

Sunday marks the final week of the regular season, and the games will determine the seeding order for the playoff tournament.

North Allegheny, Hempfield and North Hills are tied for third place at 7-5, heading into Week 7’s series of games.

Mt Lebanon is one game behind that trio at 6-6.

The top four teams will receive byes to the playoff quarterfinals.

Montour is the two-time defending WPISL champion. The Spartans have won five league titles.
