WPSCA announces all-state boys soccer selections

Thirteen players from the WPIAL were named to the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State list.

The selections include:

• Roman Agostoni, Sr., MF, Latrobe

• Danny Battista, South Park

• Milo Chiu, Sr., MF, Fox Chapel

• Aedan Costa, Sr., MF, Moon

• Nathan Katari, Sr., MF, North Allegheny

• John Krug, Sr., F, Chartiers Valley

• Adam Kuchera, Jr., MF, Canon-McMillan

• Brayden Miller, Sr., MF, Thomas Jefferson

• Michael Miller, Sr., D, Winchester Thurston

• Ryan Moessner, Jr., F, Bentworth

• Tyler Prex, Sr., MF, Seneca Valley

• Abdul Wahab Shuiab, Sr., MF, Avonworth

• Parker Weiss, Sr., MF, Peters Township

Prex (4A), Krug (3A), Battista (2A) and Moessner (A) were the WPIAL players of the year.

Also this week, the WPSCA announced its coaches of the year.

Winners were Raf Kolankowski of Plum (4A), Tyler Blake of Moon (3A), Jon Cantwell of South Park (2A) and Nick Malarbi of Bentworth (A).
