Three WPIAL football players joined Pennsylvania’s roster for the Big 33 Football Classic.

Thomas Jefferson lineman Dom Serapiglia, Seneca Valley inside linebacker Jake Stebbins and McKeesport outside linebacker Thomas Wyatt were announced Thursday as replacements for the high school football all-star game.

Pine-Richland linebacker Tyler King was among the three players who were chosen for the game but since declined their invitations. King declined because of obligations related to his Navy football commitment. Saucon Valley lineman Tim Weaver and Malvern Prep linebacker Keith Maguire also declined.

The Pennsylvania roster was announced Jan. 31.

This year’s Big 33 game is May 27 at Central Dauphin’s Landis Field in Harrisburg.
