4 WPIAL girls volleyball teams set for PIAA semifinal matches

Both the WPIAL and the 2023 PIAA girls volleyball playoffs are down to the final four midway through the state postseason.

There are four District 7 teams still alive for state gold, and two of them will be going head-to-head in the third round.

Here is the rundown of the state semifinal matches in the PIAA girls volleyball playoffs.

All final four matches are set for Tuesday.

Class 4A

North Allegheny (18-1) vs. Landisville Hempfield (20-0) at Hollidaysburg at 5:30 p.m.

Unionville (24-0) vs. Parkland (24-0) at Norristown at 6 p.m.

Class 3A

Hampton (23-0) vs. North Catholic (20-1) at North Allegheny at 7 p.m.

Spring Grove (19-5) vs. Pope John Paul II (23-0) at Garden Spot at 6:30 p.m.

Class 2A

Beaver (22-0) vs. Philipsburg-Osceola (24-0) at Keystone at 6 p.m.

Camp Hill Trinity (24-0) vs. Notre Dame-Green Pond (18-4) at McConnelsburg at 6:30 p.m.

Class A

Elk County Catholic (19-0) vs. Maplewood (18-3) at Warren at 6 p.m.

Mount Calvary Christian (23-1) vs. West Branch (18-0) at Mifflin County at 6:30 p.m.
