Logan Bitar
Burrell, jr., RB/DB
Despite his team’s 12-6 loss to Hopewell on Friday, Bitar (5-11, 170) tallied 185 yards on 23 carries and got the Bucs on the board with an electrifying, 86-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Tyler Green
Valley, jr., QB
The signal-caller hopes to have a stronger game Friday in the home opener against Seton-La Salle as the Vikings continue to develop their passing game to complement tailback Deonte Ross. In last week’s loss to Keystone Oaks, Green (6-1, 225) completed seven of 18 passes for 98 yards.
Luke Kennedy
Freeport, sr., WR/DB
Yellowjackets receivers caught eight passes in a Week Zero rout of Yough. Kennedy (6-1, 170) again hopes to be a key target as Freeport opens conference play against Deer Lakes.
Scott Landis
Springdale, sr., FB/LB
Landis (5-11, 230) helped the Dynamos score a big win over Jefferson-Morgan in Week 1 with 209 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries. He hopes to have another big game as Springdale looks to control the ball against top-ranked Clairton.
