Matt Charlton
Freeport, sr., OL/DL
The veteran will be a key force on both sides of the ball in a matchup with Keystone Oaks that will decide a WPIAL playoff spot. Charlton (6-4, 302) received his sixth college offer Tuesday from West Virginia State.
Shawn Demharter
Valley, sr., WR/OLB
Demharter (6-0, 170) had a second-quarter interception return for a touchdown in a 18-13 victory over rival Burrell. He also has been a reliable wide receiver in his only season on the team and hopes to make an impact this week at Apollo-Ridge.
Romello Freeman
Highlands, sr. WR/S
Freeman (6-1, 185) got a lot of bang for his buck last week in the Golden Rams’ 56-12 win over Blackhawk. He caught four passes for 266 yards. All four went for TDs. This week, Highlands faces No. 1 South Fayette.
Charlie Sprague
Springdale, sr., OT/DT
Sprague (6-5, 315) is an anchor of a sizeable offensive line with Ryan Pahlman, Josh Gatto, Matt Schlessman and Andrew Berkoben that opened holes for an offense that collected 330 rushing yards on 42 carries last week in a key win over Bishop Canevin.
