Aliquippa junior Zuriah Fisher is popular with ACC and Big 10 football coaches.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker announced scholarship offers this week from Michigan State, Virginia and Purdue — giving him six from the Big 10 and four from the ACC.

Both Pitt and Penn State already have offered him.

Rivals.com ranks Fisher as a three-star recruit and the eighth-best prospect in Pennsylvania.

His other Big 10 offers are from Maryland, Indiana and Minnesota. His additional ACC offers are Boston College and Syracuse.

Fisher announced his first SEC offer Thursday night from Kentucky.

Fisher holds nearly 20 offers with a number of Mid-American schools also included.

He was Aliquippa’s second-leading tackler last season when the Quips won WPIAL and PIAA Class 3A titles.
