The recruiting process continues to pick up for Baldwin’s Dorien Ford.

The Highlanders’ sophomore defensive end announced a scholarship offer Tuesday from Syracuse and Wednesday from Nebraska, bringing his total to seven.

A 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive end, Ford received an offer last week from Pitt. He also holds offers from Ball State, Howard, Robert Morris and Toledo.

As a sophomore, Ford ranked among Baldwin’s top tacklers, getting 10 for loss and recovering two fumbles. He was named an all-conference defensive end in the Class 5A Allegheny Nine.
