The Serra Catholic Eagles claimed their first PIAA baseball championship by defeating the Reading Central Catholic Cardinals 4-0 at Medlar Park on Friday afternoon. The Seneca Valley Raiders won their first ever WPIAL Quad-A baseball title in a rout, defeating number one seed Peters Township 15-4 on Tuesday night at Consol Energy Park. McCoy is only a sophomore at Ambridge, but she already has established herself as one of the best high jumpers in league history.
