The Lincoln Park Leopards ran into a mighty buzz saw in the Philadelphia Math, Civics and Sciences Mighty Elephants on Friday afternoon in the PIAA Class A boys final at the Bryce Jordan Center, falling 70-55. One top high school basketball player has returned from a concussion and another important player might be returning. West Mifflin senior C.J. Hester, who averages 18 points a game, played in a PIAA Class AAA play-in game Tuesday night and was a key factor in the Titans' 66-36 victory against Bradford. The Blackhawk Cougars picked up their fifth WPIAL Championship with a 63-49 victory over Section 2 rivals the Ambridge Bridgers on Saturday. Alexa Hayward led the way with 21 points for Cougars, who won their 12th straight game.
