The 2011 PIHL high school hockey all-star games are set to be played on Sunday from the Rostraver Ice Gardens with all four games to be broadcast only here on the MSA Sports Network. When it comes to records, maybe its time to stop thinking about Rushel Shell in a WPIAL sense. Maybe its time to look at the entire state. Shell, Hopewells wonderful junior running back, ran for 193 yards against West Allegheny in a 34-31 overtime win last night. The 2010-11 PIHL campaign officially begins tonight, so what better way to celebrate than continuing our annual in-depth preview? This week, we take a look at Class A, where Mars will look to defend its state title and capture a third straight Penguins Cup. There will be plenty of teams out to stop the Planets, though.
