LaSalle College Boys and Harriton Girls Win 2013 PIAA Lacrosse State Titles

LaSalle College defeated the three-time defending boys lacrosse state champion Conestoga Pioneers for their second state title. The Explorers, who won the inaugural boys state championship in 2009, were led on Saturday by Matt Rambo's four goals, three of which came in a three minute span in the first quarter. Meanwhile in the girls state lacrosse final, Harriton won their first state crown by defeating the two-time champion Radnor Raiders with a thrilling come from behind overtime victory. Senior Caleigh Foust scored five goals for the Rams, including the overtime championship clinching winner.
