It doesn’t matter if there is security or a police presence at Ringgold football games. The key for fourth-year coach Matt Humbert is he always has had the Law on his side.Humbert has enjoyed success in his four years as Ringgold’s coach, and one of the keys is there has been a Law under center. Quad Law played quarterback for the Rams in Humbert’s first two years when the Rams were a combined 17-4. Now, Law’s younger, Nico, is the Rams’ QB.They are turning Ringgold into a Law school.After going only 4-6 last season, Ringgold is 3-1 this year heading into a big game tonight at West Mifflin. Now that Shai McKenzie’s football career is over, it’s time to reflect on how good of a running back he was at Washington High School. Going strictly by statistics, it’s not an overstatement to say McKenzie was one of the best of all time in the WPIAL.McKenzie’s senior season is finished because of a torn ACL sustained in last Friday’s game against Charleroi. He was scheduled to have surgery Friday.McKenzie finished his career with 4,856 yards on 493 carries and 77 touchdowns. The yardage is the 15th best in WPIAL history. Had he stayed healthy, there is a good chance McKenzie would have become only the fifth running back in WPIAL history to reach 6,000 career yards.MSA Sports Top Ten – WPIAL Boys Soccer – 09/18/2013

We celebrated America's Birthday earlier this month with various parades and fireworks. You'll forgive us if we celebrate the 2012-2013 school year with just a parade and no pyrotechnics. It was been another great high school sports year in District 7 of the PIAA. All of us here at the MSA Sports Network and Management Science Associates thank our sponsors and fans for their support during the school year.
