Week 7 of the College Football season continues with some good match ups this weekend. Conference play rolls on in the NEC, PSAC and PAC, along with the WVIAC and the NCAC.

Here are previews of All the games, including 3 that can be heard right here on the Network:

Slippery Rock(2-4) at Clarion(3-3)  1pm on WLER 97.7-FM and the MSA Sports Network
Both teams are 1-2 in PSAC West divisional play. Slippery Rock leads the all-time series 47-23-3 and has won the last 6 meetings.

SRU lost last week to IUP 33-18. The Rock has dropped 3 straight games.
 

RB Akeem Satterfield is 8th in the PSAC in rushing at 83 yards per game. Satterfield has scored just 4 touchdowns this season.
 

Who will the Rock have at QB, Jared Buck returned from injury and started last week before being pulled in the 2nd quarter. Buck has thrown for 576 yards with 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Nigel Barksdale started two weeks ago and came on in relief last week, he has 458 yards passing with 4 touchdowns and 3 picks.
 

Junior DT Tony Papley recorded a career-high 10 tackles and junior LB Bob Westerlund had a career-best nine takedowns last Saturday.
 

The Rock defense led the PSAC all of last season and was one of the top defenses in the nation, this year the Rock has fallen to the middle of the pack in the PSAC. Gary Allen leads the defense with 50 tackles.
 

Clarion fell 41-22 to California last week. QB Ben Fiscus posted some great numbers in the loss. Fiscus was 36-64 passing, both school records and threw for 410 yards, he also ran for a touchdown. Fiscus is 10th in the PSAC in rushing at 81 yards per game, he has thrown for 1,295 yards with 9 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, Fiscus is 7th in the conference passing stats.
 

RB Bobby Thomas is 6th in the PSAC at 100 yards per game, he missed last week’s game with an injury.
 

Jon Reid had 10 catches for 154 yards. Aaron Barlow grabbed 8 passes for 104 yards. Reid is 10th in the PSAC with 33 catches for 538 yards and 2 touchdowns.
 

Clarion head coach Jay Foster is a former defensive coordinator at Slippery Rock.
 

Geneva(1-4) at Saint Vincent(0-5)  1pm on WBVP 1230-AM and the MSA Sports Network
The Golden Tornadoes are 1-2 in the PAC. Geneva fell 42-36 in overtime to Bethany last week.
 

Last week was the 3rd straight week the Golden Tornadoes went to overtime.
 

Zach Hayward hit Rocco Colavecchia for a td on the final play of regulation to force the overtime.
 

Hayward is 2nd in the PAC in passing at 1,196 yards, he has 10 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions.
 

Colavecchia ran for 136 yards, including a 65 yard touchdown. He had 6 catches for 79 yards and scored 4 touchdowns for the 2nd consecutive week. Colavecchia is 2nd in the PAC with 485 yards rushing and leads the conference with 13 touchdowns.
 

Geneva has 3 receivers in the top 10 in the conference, Jordan Curry with 28 catches, Corey O’Patchen with 26 and Colavecchia with 24. 
 

This week’s game will be the fifth road game in six weeks for the GT’s.
 

Geneva is 2nd in the PAC in scoring offense, they are 8th in scoring defense at 32 and 39 points per game.
 

Dillion Goodell leads the conference averaging 11 tackles per game, Brett Hutira is 4th at 9.4 stops. 
 

The Bearcats are 0-3 in PAC play, falling to Thiel 14-7 last week.
Saint Vincent scored first on a Matt Deakins td pass to Ryan Crawford. That was the only score for the Bearcats.
 

Deakins finished 16-30 for 161 yards passing and the touchdown, Andy Borgen also saw time at QB, he ran for 49 yards to lead the team.
 

WR Ricky Douglas caught 7 passes for 67 yards. Matt Duffey is 8th in the conference with 21 catches. 
 

The Bearcats are last in the conference in scoring at 11 points per game.
 

Linebackers Renny Larue-Holloman and Jovaugh Johnson each made 10 tackles.

Geneva leads the all-time series 11-4-1, the GT’s have won all 6 meetings since the return of the Bearcat football program.
 

W & J(4-2) at Westminster(2-2)  1:30pm on WJPA 1450-AM and the MSA Sports Network
Both teams average 22 points per game on offense.
 

The Presidents are 3-1 in the PAC after last week’s loss at Thomas More.
 

W & J continues to cope with the tragic death of running back Tim McNerney. DeAndre Simmons wore McNerney’s #5 jersey last week.
The Presidents turned the ball over 7 times on the afternoon.
 

Dion Weigand caught a 4 yard pass for a touchdown.
 

QB Matt Bliss threw for 225 yards and a score. Bliss is 3rd in the conference at 1,083 yards passing, he has 6 td passes but 9 interceptions.
 

Alex Baroffio leads the PAC with 48 catches.
 

Hunter Creel caught 6 passes for 111 yards. Creel is 9th in the PAC with 25 catches.
 

Zach DiCicco led the way on defense for the Presidents. DiCicco made 5 stops, had a sack, forced a fumble and recovered another and picked off a pass.
 

Jon Lowery is 2nd in the conference with 6.5 sacks.
 

The Titans sit at 1-2 in PAC play and come off their 2nd bye week of the season.
 

Westminster fell two weeks ago to Grove City 23-21.
 

The Titan defense has been the strong suit this season. Westminster leads the conference in scoring defense, they are second in total defense, rushing defense and interceptions.
 

LB Derrick Orlowski leads the Titans with just under 9 tackles per game, he is 7th in the PAC.
 

RB Tyler Banks is 4th in the conference at 77 yards per game rushing.
 

QB Dak Britt is fifth in the PAC at 148.5 yards per game passing. He is 7th in the conference in rushing at 55 yards per game.
 

Gino Pasquenelli is the main target with 17 catches this season.
 

W & J leads the series 31-2, including 11 straight wins.
 

Duquesne(4-1) at Central Connecticut State(0-5)  Noon
Both teams were idle last week.

The Dukes are 2-0, one half game back of Albany for the top spot in the NEC. Duquense is 3rd in the conference at 28 points per game.
 

Larry McCoy leads the conference at 620 yards rushing. McCoy has scored 9 touchdowns.
 

Sean Patterson is 2nd in the NEC at 207 yards passing per game, he has 1,039 yards. Gianni Carter is 3rd in receiving with 26 catches for 378 yards. 
 

The Dukes lead at plus 7 in the turnover margin.
 

CCSU is 0-2 in the NEC. The Blue Devils are minus 5 in turnovers.
 

Saint Francis(3-3) at Albany(5-0)  1pm
Saint Francis is 2-1 in NEC play. The Red Flash defeated Robert Morris 10-3 last week. Anthony Abeid caught the only touchdown of the game on a 50 yard pass in the 2nd quarter. Abeid was named the NEC Rookie of the Week.

The Red Flash have 3 runners in the top 10, Keion Wade has 560 yards, John Kelly has 419 and Kharai Dickson has 301 yards. Kelly has thrown for 587 yards.
 

Safety Jake DeMedal made 8 tackles and forced a fumble in last week’s win.
 

The Great Danes lead the NEC at 3-0, a half game better than Duquesne.
 

Albany defeated Bryant 31-14 last week. Safety Justinian Mason returned an interception 75 yards for a touchdown, breaking a 14-all tie. Mason was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Ryan Kirchner pulled in 7 passes for 103 yards in last week’s win. Drew Smith ran for 104 yards on 23 carries and 3 touchdowns.  Smith is 2nd in the NEC at 605 yards rushing.
 

Albany is first in the NEC in scoring offense at 35 points per game, Saint Francis is 4th at 25 points.
 

Will Fiacchi is 3rd in the NEC at 1,221 yards passing. 
 

Robert Morris(1-4) at Bryant(0-6)  1pm
RMU is 0-2 in the NEC, Bryant is 0-4.

The Colonials fell for the first time ever to Saint Francis 10-3 last week.
Evan Taylor is 7th in the conference in rushing at 349 yards. Dontae Jeter has 14 catches and 268 yards.
 

Jeff Sinclair is still trying to come back from injury, he has thrown for 490 yards with 4 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. 
 

Bryant lost to Albany 31-14. Jordan Brown is 5th in the NEC with 498 yards rushing. Jordan Harris leads the NEC at 28 catches and 501 yards. Mike Westerhaus has thrown for 1,087 yards with 7 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. 
 

Mercyhurst(5-1) at Gannon(1-5)  Noon
Mercyhurst is 3-0 in the PSAC West and tied for the lead with Cal. The Lakers have won 5 straight games.

RB Allen Jones II ran for 111 yards and a td last week in a 19-10 win over Lock Haven. The Lakers lead the series 9-5-1 vs. the Golden Knights, but have dropped the last 2 meetings. Jones is 7th in the conference in rushing at 469 yards, Brandon Brown-Dukes is 5th at 707 yards. Brown-Dukes is 2nd in the conference in scoring with 9 touchdowns.
 

Mercyhurst has the top pass defense in the league and third overall.
 

The Golden Knights are 0-3 in divisional play and have lost 5 straight games. Gannon lost to Edinboro last week 44-24. QB Liam Nadler threw for 263 yards, his 5th 200 yard game of the season. Jansen Jones ran for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns. 
 

Nadler has 1,643 yards this season and 10 touchdowns, 6 going to Abraham Ocasio.
 

Gannon’s overall numbers are not good on both sides of the ball, but the Golden Knights do have the 3rd best passing defense in the PSAC.
 

IUP(5-1) at Edinboro(3-2)  Noon
Both teams are 2-1 in the PSAC West, one game back of California and Mercyhurst.

The Crimson Hawks are ranked 22nd this week in the AFCA D-II poll. IUP defeated Slippery Rock 33-16 last week. Harvie Tuck was named PSAC West Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, running for 233 yards on 36 carries and 2 touchdowns. It’s the 3rd time that Tuck went over 200 yards for the season, IUP ran for 388 yards as a team in the win. Tuck leads the conference in rushing at 165 yards per game and touchdowns with 10.
 

The defense also shined last week, picking off 3 passes and sacking Rock quarterbacks 4 times. IUP leads D-II in scoring defense, allowing just 9.7 points per game, the Crimson Hawks are 3rd in yards allowed per game. 
 

Edinboro defeated Gannon 44-24 last week. LB Bruce Davis was named PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week. Davis made 9 tackles(8 solo) and notched 2 sacks in the win. Branden Williams picked off a pass last week, his 16th career interception at Edinboro. S Kenny Pettis is 2nd in D-II, averaging 13 tackles per game.
 

Special teams also paid off for the Fighting Scots, Devin Ghafoor picked up a blocked punt and returned it for a touchdown.
 

QB Cody Harris had another big day in last week’s win. Harris threw for 2 scores and ran for 2 more, he has either thrown for or ran for the last 13 touchdowns scored by the Fighting Scots. Harris was 28-24 passing for 312 yards, his 2nd straight 300 yard game.
 

Lock Haven(0-6) at California(5-1)  3:30pm
The Bald Eagles have the longest losing streak in D-II history at 48 consecutive games, Lock Haven also has the longest current streak in any division of NCAA football. Lock Haven fell at Mercyhurst last week 19-10.

The Vulcans are ranked 16th this week in the AFCA D-II poll. Cal defeated Clarion 41-22 last week to go to 3-0 in the PSAC West and remain tied with Mercyhurst for the top spot.  QB Peter Lalich threw for 300 yards or more for the 5th straight game and 9th in his career at Cal. Lalich is 2nd in D-II with 2,143 yards passing.
 

Trey Johnson and Mike Williams each had more than 100 yards receiving last week.
 

DB Rontez Miles has 33 tackles and 3 interceptions in the last 3 games.
 

Concord(3-3) at Seton Hill(0-6)  Noon
Concord defeated Glenville State last week 14-9. Jake Lilly was named WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week made 14 tackles including 1 for loss. Calvinaugh Jones had a huge day, running for 186 yards. Ben Nestor ran for 2 scores.

Seton Hill lost to Charleston 30-13. Andrew Jackson threw for 240 yards, replacing Ryan Morris at QB. Niko Hall-Brown had 7 catches for 100 yards. Trae Cook scored on a td run. John Falatovich made 17 tackles.
 

Waynesburg(6-0) at Bethany(1-4)  1pm
The Yellow Jackets are all alone on top of the PAC at 4-0 after a 21-14 win last week over Grove City.

TE Adam Moses was the star with 2 touchdown catches.
 

Backup QB Carter Hill made his first start, throwing for 109 yards and 2 scores.
 

Tyler Fatigante suffered a shoulder injury 2 weeks ago, he was recovered enough to start at WR last week.
 

S Bryan Gary made 11 tackles, he also picked off his 2nd pass of the season. 
 

The Bison are 1-2 in the conference. Bethany defeated Geneva in overtime last week 42-36 for the first overtime win in school history.
QB Matt Grimard scored with 18 seconds to play on a 5 yard run to put the Bison up, but the defense could not hold the lead, Grimard hit Ed Holmes on the 2nd play of overtime for a 24 yard touchdown and the win. The senior threw for 343 yards and 4 touchdowns, he was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
 

RB Phil Acrie ran for a career high 146 yards in the win, Eric Blinn had 7 catches for 121 yards, including a 60 yard touchdown. Bethany leads the PAC averaging 32 points per game.
 

Kyle Arrington made a career high 17 tackles in the win.
 

Punter Steven Amic was named PAC Special Teams Player of the Week. Amic nailed 5 of his 7 punts inside the 20 yard line, including a 62 yard boot that was downed at the Geneva 1.
 

Waynesburg leads the all-time series 25-16-6.
 

Thiel (2-4)at Thomas More(2-3)  1:30pm
Both teams are 2-2 in the PAC.
 

Thiel defeated Saint Vincent 14-7 last week. Ethan Ludwig returned an interception 31 yards for a touchdown and Andrew Smith hit Zane Garza for a score late in the first half. Saint Vincent never entered Thiel territory in the second half.

The Saints routed W & J last week. DE Jay Volker was a key member of the defense. Volker made 11 tackles, 5 for loss. He also forced a fumble and recovered another loose ball. The senior was named PAC Defensive Player of the Week.
 

The Thomas More offense posted 606 yards in the 54-18 win. Adam Rauch ran for 181 yards and 3 touchdowns. Landon Savoy added 92 yards rushing. QB Jensen Gebhardt threw for 237 yards and 3 scores.
 

Thomas More leads the series between the teams 6-3 and has won 5 straight.
 

DePauw(1-4) at Allegheny(3-2)  1pm
DePauw is 0-2 in the NCAC. The Tigers fell 26-22 last week to Ohio Wesleyan. QB Jordan Murray threw for 164 yards but was intercepted 4 times.

After two losses to open the season, the Tigers dismissed head coach Robby Long and named Scott Smka head coach.

The Gators are 2-0 in the NCAC. Allegheny was blanked by the University of Chicago 10-0 last week, it was the first time the Gators had been blanked since 2003.
 

Allegheny lost two starting running backs last week as Tyler Smith and Ben Perko went down with injuries. Smith leads the team with 194 yards, Perko has 155 yards.
 

Mike Person has thrown for 546 yards, he has just 2 td passes with 4 interceptions. Derrick Emigh has 23 catches for 185 yards.
