■ GATEWAY 66, FRANKLIN REGIONAL 3
Gateway quarterback Brendan Majocha rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on runs of 22, 17 and 16 yards. He also completed 9 of 13 passes for 246 yards and three scores.

■ FREEPORT 14, DEER LAKES 10
Conor Selinger rushed for a go-ahead touchdown with 1 minute, 41 seconds remaining and sealed the victory with an interception of Deer Lakes quarterback Aris Hasley on the ensuing drive.

■ CLAIRTON 45, IMANI CHRISTIAN 18
Clairton safety Kenlein Ogletree disrupted Imani Christian’s big-play pass attack with three first-half interceptions.

ALLEGHENY

■ NORTH CATHOLIC 27, ELIZABETH FORWARD 0
Neither team had much momentum in the first half as Elizabeth Forward until Trojan quarterback Zack Rocco scored on a 5-yard run with 6:31 remaining in the second quarter.

■ BEAVER FALLS 41, KEYSTONE OAKS 21
Two-sport star Dayln Brickner ran for 248 yards, threw for 58 more, and accounted for five touchdowns, as the No. 5 Tigers (6-1, 4-1) dropped Keystone Oaks, 41-21, at Geneva College’s Reeves Field.

■ ROCHESTER 32, STO-ROX 12
Noah Whiteleather came into Week 6 as the fourth leading rusher in the WPIAL with nearly 1,200 yards rushing and was able to have success against a Vikings defense that hadn’t surrendered an offensive touchdown in their last four games.

■ FREEDOM 16, NEW BRIGHTON 14
Only a failed two-point conversion by New Brighton with 51 seconds left preserved the 16-14 win for Freedom.

■ UPPER ST. CLAIR 28, MT. LEBANON 7
Upper St. Clair used two quick scores in the second half and pulled away for a 28-7 victory. The game was tied 7-7 at halftime.

■ QUAKER VALLEY 46, WAYNESBURG 14
Ethan Moore completed 22 of 34 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns and added three rushing TDs.

The Raiders have allowed a stingy 7.14 points per game.

■ CENTRAL CATHOLIC 35, NORWIN 16
Sophomore running back Edward Tillman finished with 330 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries.

■ PENN-TRAFFORD 27, LATROBE 7
Junior running back Caleb Lisbon led Penn-Trafford with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries.

■WEST MIFFLIN 42, GREENSBURG SALEM 28
The fireworks at the outset didn’t even involve Howard commit Parrish Parker, who ended up with 201 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries.

■ BURRELL 35, MT. PLEASANT 7
The Burrell defense forced six turnovers, including a pick-six by senior Luke Kastelic.

■ DERRY 53, UNIONTOWN 20
Coach Tim Sweeney inserted the JVs after Derry got up by four touchdowns heading into the second quarter.

■ GREENSBURG CENTRAL CATHOLIC 42, MAPLETOWN 6
Centurions senior quarterback Max Pisula was nearly flawless in the first half, completing 5 of 6 passes for 184 yards and three scores. He added another touchdown rushing. He was pulled at halftime.

■ JEANNETTE 28, OUR LADY of the SACRED HEART 13
Jayhawks quarterback Seth Howard threw for 198 yards and ran for 70.

■ LIGONIER VALLEY 49, MARION CENTER 27
Aaron Tutino tied the state record for career touchdown receptions, hauling in three in the first half as Ligonier Valley ran its conference football winning streak to 26 games.

The passing combination of quarterback Luke Presinger-to-Anthony Tambelli accounted for three touchdowns in the first 15 minutes of play as the Spartans took command, 21-7.

■ VALLEY 28, APOLLO-RIDGE 16
Valley collected 341 rushing yards, including 209 yards and three touchdowns from Deonte Ross.

■ FOX CHAPEL 45, CONNELLSVILLE 15
Fox Chapel’s Sam Brown rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries.

■ LEECHBURG 21, FRAZIER 14
Leechburg rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit to defeat Frazier, 21-14, in a nonconference game Friday night at Veterans Memorial Field.

■ RIVERVIEW 19, JEFFERSON-MORGAN 8
Riverview (1-5) set the tone early on defense and didn’t let up as it held the Rockets (2-5) to 143 yards while racking up six sacks, including three by junior Isaac Murphy.

■ WOODLAND HILLS 47, KISKI AREA 0
Woodland Hills put the game out of reach in the third quarter as it scored 23 points in a three-minute span.
