Caden Kaiser scored a career-high 17 points to lead Fox Chapel to a 58-50 comeback victory over Shaler in nonsection boys basketball Tuesday.

Asher White added 14 points for the Foxes, who trailed 39-32 entering the fourth quarter. Jordan Epps scored 19 points and Deron Nixon had 16 for Shaler (0-1).

Armstrong 53, Perry Traditional Academy 36 – Jacob Szep led with 19 points and Quinn Olsen followed with 15 for Armstrong (1-2) in a nonsection win. Chaz Jackson scored 12 points and Landen Boykin had 11 for Perry (0-3).

Beaver 66, Blackhawk 51 – Brady Mayo scored 23 points and Junior Marino added 19 to lead Beaver (3-0) past Blackhawk (1-2) in a nonsection win. Justin Shanor scored 13 points and Tyler Heckathorn had 12 for the Cougars.

Belle Vernon 55, Gateway 54 – Tommy Davis hit the game-winning shot with 1.5 seconds left to lead Belle Vernon (1-2) to a nonsection win. Zion Moore poured in 33 points and Trevor Kovatch added 12 for the Leopards. Mykel Bruce-McCrommon scored 30 and Paul Nnacho added 10 for Gateway (0-2).

Butler 72, Kiski Area 67 – Ayden Andrews scored 18 points and Stainton Forbes and Andrew Gettinger added 17 apiece to lead Butler (2-0) to a nonsection win. Jacob Musselman scored 17 points and Amaree Gonzalez had 16 for Kiski Area (0-1).

Chartiers-Houston 50, Washington 39 – Justus Buckingham scored 19 points and Nate Gregory added 11 to lead Chartiers-Houston (2-0) to a nonsection win. Tayvonne France scored 13 points and Vincent Johnson had 11 for Washington (0-1).

Chartiers Valley 83, Laurel Highlands 54 – Jayden Davis racked up 41 points and Julius Best chipped in 14 to power Chartiers Valley (2-0) to a nonsection win. Aiden Black scored 22 and Antwan Black added 14 for Laurel Highlands (0-1).

East Allegheny 52, Burrell 32 – Kasante Morant scored 14 points and Otis Paterson added 13 to lead East Allegheny (1-0) to a nonsection win. Parker Pruitt led Burrell (0-1) with eight points.

Elizabeth Forward 77, Bethel Park 67 – Daniel Spence and Tyler Basic scored 21 points apiece to lead Elizabeth Forward (2-1) to a nonsection win. Cy Herchelroath also scored 16 points and James Gile had 13 for the Warriors. Brady Bruckner scored 12 points and Jude Hamel had 11 for Bethel Park (0-1).

Franklin Regional 49, Quaker Valley 48 (OT) – Connor Crossey scored the go-ahead basket with 10 seconds left as Franklin Regional (2-0) rallied from a 15-point deficit after three quarters to win in the Mike Rettger Memorial Tournament. Crossey and Jonah Johnston scored 16 points apiece for the Panthers, who outscored Quaker Valley 22-7 in the fourth quarter and 5-4 in overtime. Zach Washington scored 14 points and Dana Kromah had 12 for the Quakers (1-1).

Peters Township 4, Bethel Park 1 – Jacob Hlawati and Luca Maietta each had a goal and an assist and Matthew Scouvart and Cavan Fisher also scored for Peters Township (2-6-1) in a Class 3A win. Nick Hosbach scored for Bethel Park (1-9).

Richland 4, Freeport 3 – Liam Griffin scored the winning goal with 24 seconds left in regulation to lift Richland (1-9) to a Class A win. Noah Brydon scored twice and Griffin and Austin Blough each had a goal and an assist. For Freeport (1-10), Zach Bowser scored twice and Liam McKivigan had a goal and an assist.

Shaler 9, Westmont Hilltop 1 – Chase Irwin had two goals and three assists and Joshua Yuiska and Brendan Fitzgerald each added two goals for Shaler (8-2) in a Class A win. Blake Whiteman had a goal and three assists and Darius Malecki added a goal and two assists. Brett Hoffman scored for Westmont Hilltop (1-9-1).
