McKeesport running back Carlinos Acie announced his commitment to Navy football on Thursday, making him the second senior from the Tigers backfield headed to a Division I school.

Acie also listed offers from Army, Brown, Citadel, Columbia, Dartmouth and Duquesne.

As a wingback in McKeesport’s triple-option offense, Acie (5-10, 180) rushed for 747 yards and nine touchdowns last season on 75 carries. The Tigers reached the WPIAL Class 5A semifinals last year and were WPIAL runners-up in 2016.

McKeesport teammate Layton Jordan signed in December to play linebacker at Temple.
