The Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers graduated five starters as part of the class of 2013. We have three returning starters beginning with junior defensive specialist Kassie Kesneck, junior outside hitter Montana Johnston and sophomore setter/right side Kylee Levers. Johnston was named all-section third team last season. Levers was named all-section and All-WPIAL first teams last season and will be a captain for the CH team this season.

Our seniors include: defensive specialist Christine Walsh, defensive specialist Jen Lucas, outside Deja Wormsley, outside Alyza Grimm and middle hitter Shylynn Hamilton. All of our seniors are honor students involved in multiple other activities. Walsh and Lucas will serve as co-captains this season with Hamilton earning a starting role as a middle hitter.

Other players to mention include junior right side Jenna Vulcano, junior outside/middle hitter Sabrina Stankus, junior outside co-captian Lexi Tatano and sophomore middle hitter Allison Lukan all of whom will play a starting role this season.

The 2013 -2014 season will be one of rebuilding for our team. Our focus is on effective communication, personal responsibility and team work. Our goal is to learn and grow as a team and to be competitive in our section.
