It’s sort of like digging out your telescope from the deep, dark crevices of your upstairs closet, dusting it off, setting it up and then…nothing but clouds. But wait, off in the distance is that one shining star. That was the case Saturday of Week Three with only one high school football game on the WPIAL gridiron slate. here is out brief salute to our Saturday Scholastic Standout.
Tyler Bradley – Our Lady of the Sacred Heart
Going into Week Two of this 2016 high school football season, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart had lost twelve straight games dating back to the 2014 season. Now heading into Week Four next Friday, OLSH has won two in a row. The streaky purple and gold made it known that they are in the hunt for a postseason berth in the Class 1-A Big 7 Conference Saturday when sophomore quarterback Tyler Bradley connected on 13 of 21 passes for 264 yards and two touchdown tosses as the visiting Chargers crushed the previously undefeated Western Beaver Golden Beavers 49-6.
