Mt. Lebanon, Mars & Greensburg CC Win 2012 WPIAL Girls Volleyball Championships

Two schools celebrated first time girls volleyball championships while another won a sixth crown out of the #5-seed. Mount Lebanon captured the Class AAA title, their second in four years, out of the fifth-seed. The Blue Devils also won district gold in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2007 and 2009. Meanwhile, special first-time champions were crowned in Class AA as Mars knocked off defending champion Hopewell, and in Class A as Greensburg Central Catholic went from wire to wire at #1.
