Welcome to another edition of “PIHL News and Notes,” your continuing source for all the scholastic hockey happenings you may not hear about on “The PIHL Power Play.” As we get set for the final month of the 2010-11 regular season now seems an appropriate time to check in on last year’s champions. We’ll tell you which one has been the most dominant team in the league, which one is far from it, and which one has a real shot at making history.
Plus, our “Game of the Week” previews include two non-section contests between playoff-bound teams in Class AA and Class A, plus a pair of section battles in Class AAA and the Open Class. So join us once again for a look at what else is happening in each classification
