PIHL High School Hockey Postseason Picture

The PIHL high school hockey regular season is finally OVER for teams in Class AAA, Class AA and Class A. The PIHL Open Class Championship Game is Sunday on MSA Sports, so lets take a look at the final Penguins Cup Playoff Picture.
PIHL CLASS AAA – 12 PLAYOFF TEAMS:
Top four teams receive a First Round bye and host a Quarterfinals game.
* #1 FOX CHAPEL FOXES (18-2-0), #2 CANON-McMILLAN BIG MACS (15-3-1), #3 BETHEL PARK BLACK HAWKS (13-4-2) and #4 UPPER ST.CLAIR PANTHERS (13-6-1) have all clinched opening round byes
* #5 North Allegheny Tigers (12-6-2), #6 State College Little Lions (10-7-2), #7 Erie McDowell Trojans (10-8-1) and #8 Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings (10-7-3) have all clinched a playoff spot and will host a First Round playoff game
* #9 Shaler Titans (10-8-2), T-#10 Hempfield Spartans (8-11-1) and T-#10 Norwin Knights (8-11-1)
* #12 seed will be decided by Mount Lebanon Blue Devils (7-11-2) vs Plum Mustangs (7-11-2)

Top six teams receive a First Round bye and top four host a Quarterfinals game.
* #1 PETERS TOWNSHIP INDIANS (16-2-1), T-#2 BISHOP CANEVIN CRUSADERS (16-4-0), T-#2 CHARTIERS VALLEY COLTS (16-4-0), #4 LATROBE WILDCATS (15-4-1) have all clinched opening round byes AND a Quarterfinals home game
* #5 MONTOUR SPARTANS (12-6-2), #6 WEST ALLEGHENY INDIANS (11-7-2) have clinched opening round byes and will be on the road in the Quarterfinals
* #7 Elizabeth Forward Warriors (10-8-1), #8 Pine-Richland Rams (9-10-1) have clinched playoff spots and will host First Round games
* #9 Moon Tigers (7-13-0), #10 Erie Cathedral Prep Ramblers (6-10-2) have clinched playoff spots and will be on the road for First Round games

* #1 MARS FIGHTING PLANETS (20-1-0), #2 KITTANNING WILDCATS (19-1-0), T-#3 WESTMONT-HILLTOP HILLTOPPERS (16-4-1), T-#3 SERRA CATHOLIC EAGLES (16-4-1) have all clinched opening round byes AND a Quarterfinals home game
* T-#5 HAMPTON TALBOTS (15-6-0), T-#5 QUAKER VALLEY QUAKERS (15-6-0) have clinched a First Round bye and will be on the road in the Quarterfinals
* #7 South Fayette Lions (11-8-2), #8 Central Valley Warriors (7-13-1) have clinched playoff spots and will host a First Round game
* #9 Freeport Yellowjackets (7-13-1) and #10 Sewickley Academy Panthers (7-14-0) have clinched playoff spots and will be on the road in the First Round
