Another prized football prospect from Pine-Richland is headed to Notre Dame.
Junior offensive lineman Andrew Kristofic posted on Twitter on Monday that he made a verbal commitment to the Fighting Irish.
A 6-foot-6, 260-pound tackle, Kristofic also had offers from numerous Power Five schools, including Ohio State, Wisconsin, Clemson, Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, Pitt and Virginia Tech.
Kristofic, a three-star recruit according to rivals.com, will join his Pine-Richland teammate, senior Phil Jurkovec, who has signed a letter of intent for play for the Irish.
The pair helped Pine-Richland claim WPIAL and PIAA Class 6A titles last fall.
