Quaker Valley’s Wicker places 8th at PIAA meet

Quaker Valley's Annie Wicker capped off her sophomore cross country season with an eighth-place finish at the PIAA Class AA championship meet Saturday in Hershey.
She finished the 3.1-mile course in 19 minutes, 10 seconds to lead the QV girls to a ninth-place standing.
Also competing for the QV girls were senior Lucie Kubinski (20:12); senior Audrey Durbin (20:50); freshman Reagan Diggins (22:28); senior Emma Moul (22:34); junior Bryn Smiley (23:45); and senior Allison Lenhardt (24:03).
On the boys side, QV sophomore Daniel Ford finished 116th in 17:59.
