Uniontown’s Jones Repeats as WPIAL Boys AA Diving Champ

For the second year in a row, Uniontown senior Jonathan Jones walked away golden from the WPIAL AA Diving Championships Friday afternoon at South Park High School. For Jenny Ard, this has been a long time coming. Finally, some surprises. On the fourth day of the opening round of the WPIAL basketball playoffs, three double seed teams from girls Class AAA advanced to the second round with wins over the 3rd, 4th and 6th seeds. It was a clean sweep on the alleys for Hempfield as both the boys and girls bowling teams captured titles in the 2011 WPIBL team championships.
