The Parkway Conference in Class AAA and the Eastern Conference in Class A were both 4-0 in WPIAL first-round football playoff games last week. That is impressive, but not unheard of in the WPIAL. At Elizabeth Forward High School in Boys WPIAL A Soccer finals the Seton-LaSalle Rebels won in dominant fashion over the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions 3-0. The win is the fourth boys soccer title for the Rebels, with their other championships coming in 2002, 2006 and 2008.
