A pair of local football players from rival schools have been added to the West roster for the Pennsylvania State Football Coaches Association East-West all-star game next month.

Penn-Trafford wide receiver and safety Cam Suman and Norwin lineman Jake Smetak will suit up for the game set for 2 p.m. May 6 at Mansion Park Stadium in Altoona.

Suman, 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, is an IUP recruit. Smetak, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound two-way tackle, is headed to Cal (Pa.).

Three other county players were selected for the game in February: Jeannette receiver/defensive back Robert Kennedy (Lackawanna), Franklin Regional linebacker Bryce Lauer (Towson) and Ligonier Valley lineman Jake Neiderhiser (Geneva).

Penn-Trafford's Will Mayr (IUP) also was chosen but has since been added to the Big 33 Classic.
