Two players from perennial power Mt. Lebanon and three sophomores highlight the 2011 MSA Sports All-Netters team. The team is made up of the top 10 players in the WPIAL and split into a first- and second-team. The squad was selected by the MSA Sports staff. The 2011 WPIAL softball season is set to begin on Friday, March 25th. Two district teams are defending STATE champions in Mount Lebanon and Chartiers-Houston, while the Blue Devils, Montour Spartans, Valley Vikings and Vincentian Academy Royals now begin defense of their WPIAL titles, even though the Vikings have moved up from Class AA to Class AAA.Mount Lebanon Queens of the PIAA Girls Court Again and Again and Again While Archbishop Wood, Villa Maria & Steel-Highspire Also Win Titles

For a third straight year, the Mount Lebanon Blue Devils are sitting on top in Pennsylvania in Class AAAA. It wasn't pretty, but he Blue Devils were golden again by hanging on to a one point victory.
