After being swept in both regular-season matchups, No. 2 seed Upper St. Clair got some sweet postseason revenge by defeating Baldwin, 6-2, on Monday in a PIHL Class AA Penguins Cup first-round game at Ice Castle in Castle Shannon.

Thomas Jefferson claims 1st WPIAL gymnastics title

Last year, the Thomas Jefferson gymnastics team came so close to a WPIAL title, they could taste it as they finished as runner-up to Moon by just one-tenth of a point. This year, the Jaguars got their WPIAL gold. And they did so with a couple of points to spare.
Baldwin cheerleaders finish 3rd at national competition
Baldwin's Alaina Wodarek said it's every cheerleader's dream to finish among the top three teams nationally. andquot;And it doesn't happen often,andquot; she said. Baldwin's competitive cheerleading mat squad did just that, placing third in the Large Varsity Division 2 at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship held Feb. 8-10
