Can you say Five-Peat? That is what the Tigers of North Allegheny accomplished last fall in winning their fifth straight WPIAL AAA Boys Cross Country Championship. The Tigers finished with 92 points followed by Baldwin with 109 then North Hills with 158 then Plum with 196. The Midwestern Conference has a new look for 2010, gone is long time member and defending tri-champion Center. Taking the place of the Trojans is Class A Semifinalist Laurel. Will things stay the same with Aliquippa and Beaver Falls battling for the conference title or will another team step up to challenge the two remaining powers?
