When it comes to records, maybe its time to stop thinking about Rushel Shell in a WPIAL sense. Maybe its time to look at the entire state. Shell, Hopewells wonderful junior running back, ran for 193 yards against West Allegheny in a 34-31 overtime win last night. The 2010 high school football season was not even a quarter old when the defending WPIAL Class AAA champions suffered a bad break. 2009 MSA Sports co-player of the year and Wisconsin recruit Mike Caputo of West Allegheny suffered a dislocated left ankle while making a tackle late in the opening quarter of what would be a 41-0 victory for the Indians over the South Park Eagles.
