Times, sites set for Thursday’s WPIAL basketball quarterfinals

While the opening round of the WPIAL boys and girls basketball playoffs concludes Tuesday, the sites and times are now set for Quarterfinals Thursday.

The district quarterfinals continue Thursday with boys Class 6A, boys 2A, girls 4A and girls A second round contests, plus one of the four girls 6A quarterfinals.

Here are the sites and times for those quarterfinals games.

Boys 6A

No. 8 Fox Chapel (14-9) at No. 1 Upper St. Clair (21-1), 7:30 p.m.

No. 5 Hempfield (15-7) at No. 4 Seneca Valley (13-9), 7 p.m.

No. 7 Mt. Lebanon (15-8) at No. 2 New Castle (21-1), 7 p.m.

No. 11 Imani Christian Academy (7-16) vs. No. 3 Central Catholic (20-2) at Fox Chapel, 7:30 p.m.

Boys 2A

No. 9 Eden Christian Academy (16-6) vs. No. 1 Jeannette (20-1) at Fox Chapel, 6 p.m.

No. 5 Clairton (17-3) vs. No. 4 Neshannock (18-4) at Pine-Richland, 7:30 p.m.

No. 10 Winchester Thurston (16-7) vs. No. 2 Sewickley Academy (22-1) at Upper St. Clair, 6 p.m.

No. 6 Jefferson-Morgan (22-1) vs. No. 3 Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (19-4) at Peters Township, 7:30 p.m.

Girls 6A

No. 8 Mt. Lebanon (7-15) at No. 1 Canon-McMillan (18-4), 6 p.m.

Girls 4A

No. 9 Burrell (16-7) at No. 1 Blackhawk (20-0), 7 p.m.
