We have reached the end of the regular season and are nearing the start of the February Frenzy also known as the 2024 WPIAL basketball playoffs.

While the postseason is known as the second season, it also offers a second chance for teams that may not have reached their goals or potential in the regular season.

It also offers a second chance for three teams that dropped out of the Trib 10 in the final power rankings of the regular season.

Nobody would be surprised to see the Deer Lakers boys and Aliquippa and Greensburg Central Catholic girls teams return to the power rankings in the upcoming week.

For now though, they have been replaced by the Hampton boys, along with the Trinity and Avonworth girls teams.

Once again, Oakland Catholic at No. 1 and Norwin at No. 2 are the top girls teams while Lincoln Park and now Moon are on top and feeling the power on the boys side.

Here are the latest Trib 10 basketball power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
