WPIAL announces playoff sites, times for Tuesday basketball semifinals

Fox Chapel, Gateway and Peters Township will host WPIAL semifinal doubleheaders Tuesday night.

Games are scheduled that night for Class 6A and 2A boys and Class 5A and 4A girls.

Tuesday’s semifinals

Class 6A boys

1-Mt. Lebanon (20-4) vs. 4-Baldwin (17-6) at Bethel Park, 7 p.m.

2-Central Catholic (15-8) vs. 3-Upper St. Clair (18-5) at Gateway, 8 p.m.

Class 5A girls

1-Oakland Catholic (24-0) vs. 5-Armstrong (20-4) at Fox Chapel, 8 p.m.

2-McKeesport (20-3) vs. 6-South Fayette (16-8) at Peters Township, 8 p.m.

Class 4A girls

1-Blackhawk (21-2) vs. 5-Laurel Highlands (20-2) at Peters Township, 6 p.m.

2-North Catholic (15-7) vs. 3-Elizabeth Forward (21-2) at Fox Chapel, 6 p.m.

Class 2A boys

1-Aliquippa (19-5) vs. 4-Fort Cherry (19-5) at Chartiers Valley, 8 p.m.

2-Greensburg Central Catholic (22-2) vs. 3-Northgate (18-5) at Gateway, 6 p.m.

Monday’s semifinals
