WPIAL boys volleyball playoff clinchings through May 7, 2019
Wednesday, May 8, 2019 | 1:18 PM
There are two days left in the 2019 WPIAL boys volleyball regular season before the start of the district playoffs.
Check out the updated standings at the Trib HSSN website.
The Class AA postseason field of 13 is set while 10 Class AAA teams are in and three are hopeful going into the final section matches.
The top four teams in each section qualify for the playoffs, although more than four could clinch a playoff spot if there are ties and head-to-head does not clearly break those ties.
Here are the teams that have clinched a playoff berth through May 7.
Class AAA — 10 of a possible 13 teams have clinched
Bethel Park Black Hawks
Canon-McMillan Big Macs
North Allegheny Tigers
Seneca Valley Raiders
Still alive — Peters Township, Upper St. Clair, Baldwin
