The WPIAL released its Class AAA and AA boys volleyball playoff brackets Monday morning, and North Allegheny and Derry are the No. 1 seeds, respectively.

The top four seeds in Class AAA and the top three in AA receive byes into the quarterfinals.

In Class AAA, Bethel Park is the No. 2 seed, followed by Penn-Trafford at No. 3 and Butler at No. 4.

Ambridge is the No. 2 seed in Class AA, while Deer Lakes is No. 3. The quarterfinals games for both classifications are Thursday at sites and times to be determined.

It is quick turnaround for teams as the first round will be Tuesday evening at several locations.

Beaver County Christian, the No. 6 seed, has won the past two Class AA titles. Ambridge captured seven WPIAL championships from 2008 to 2015, while Deer Lakes triumphed in 2011.
