WPIAL reveals brackets for 2024 team track championships

The North Allegheny boys and girls will try to repeat as WPIAL champions when the track and field team playoffs start Tuesday.

The Tigers swept the WPIAL Class 3A titles a year ago, while the Quaker Valley girls and Greensburg Central Catholic boys will try to repeat as 2A champions.

The playoffs start with four semifinal sites in each classification. One winner from each semifinal advances to the finals May 7.

West Mifflin is host for the 3A finals and Peters Township hosts 2A.

Class 3A boys

Norwin, Connellsville, Baldwin, Kiski Area at Norwin, 3 p.m. Tuesday

Canon-McMillan, Hampton, North Allegheny, Blackhawk at North Allegheny, 3 p.m. Tuesday

Butler, Franklin Regional, Moon, Central Catholic at Butler, 3 p.m. Tuesday

Class 3A girls
