WPIAL sets pairings for 2023 girls tennis playoffs

The 2023 WPIAL girls team tennis playoffs begin with first-round matches Monday in Class 3A and Tuesday in 2A.

Mt. Lebanon is the defending WPIAL Class 3A champion while Knoch won Class 2A gold. The Knights will try to win a third team tennis title in the last four years after also winning in 2020.

The championships are set for Oct. 18 at the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center at Washington & Jefferson College.

All opening-round matches are set for 3 p.m.
