WPIAL sets pairings for team track championships

When it comes to the WPIAL team track and field championships, three programs have dominated this decade.
The North Allegheny girls and Quaker Valley girls are each trying to win a fourth straight WPIAL championship this spring while the Butler boys hope to repeat and make it four district titles in the last five seasons.
The fields have been determined for the upcoming WPIAL track and field team championships with the semifinals meets set for Tuesday at four sites in each classification.
The winner of each site advances to the WPIAL team finals May 6 at West Mifflin.
