WPIAL Softball Playoff Recaps for Friday, May 20th

What has turned into a week long battle against Mother Nature continued in the third day of the 2011 WPIAL Softball Playoffs. Of the ten games played on Friday, two of them were heard here on the MSA Sports Network. Here are the recaps from both of those games.

WPIAL CLASS AAA FIRST ROUND:
Valley Vikings 6 – Thomas Jefferson Jaguars 0
The Valley Vikings won the Class AA WPIAL Championship last season with junior, pitcher, Caitlin Nealer playing a central role in that accomplishment.
