The WPIAL let four Class A football teams flip their Week 9 nonconference opponents to create better matchups.
Now, on Oct. 25, Riverview will play at Chartiers-Houston and Sto-Rox hosts Imani Christian.
The WPIAL updated the schedule this week.
Riverview was initially paired with Sto-Rox while Chartiers-Houston played Imani Christian.
“All involved though it was more competitively balanced,” WPIAL executive director Tim O’Malley said.
Riverview lost 70-6 to Sto-Rox last season. Chartiers-Houston lost 54-0 to Imani Christian.
The nonconference games do not impact WPIAL playoff qualifying.
