WPIAL teams claim section championships

The 2018 WPIAL girls tennis team championships are set to begin this week after the district crowned singles and doubles champions in recent weeks.

Here is a rundown of the section champions:

Class AAA

Section 1: Latrobe

Section 2: Moon

Section 3: Shady Side Academy

Section 4: Mt. Lebanon, Peters Township and Upper St. Clair

Class AA

Section 1: Greensburg Salem

Section 2: Beaver

Section 3: Knoch

Section 4: Sewickley Academy
