As the band Three Dog Night once sang, “one is the loneliest number that you’ll ever know”. That could be the anthem for the very light WPIAL football schedule on Saturday. Unless we’re talking at the end of the season, then being one is the ultimate goal. For now though, one = first, and a share of first place in the Class 1-A Eastern Conference was at stake in a battle that took place at high noon. Add a Pittsburgh City League non-conference tilt, and that gave us two Saturday afternoon frays to complete Week Two. Here are the final results.

1-A Eastern Conference:

Imani Christian Saints 66 – Riverview Raiders 6  (MSA)

Pittsburgh City League Non-Conference:

Farrell Steelers 62 – Carrick Raiders 0
